Founded in 1962, Rite Aid is the third largest drugstore chain in the US, with more than 4,500 stores in 31 states.  Its mission is “To improve the health and wellness of our communities through engaging experiences that provide our customers with the best products, services and advice to meet their unique needs.”  In 2014, Rite Aid focused its company strategy on innovation, adding on-site clinics, wellness & coaching programs, a variety of immunizations, and reducing costs to its customers through a more robust private label program.  Rite Aid employs nearly 90,000 people and has more that 25 million loyalty cardholders.

About Our Partnership

Edison Nation Medical has partnered with Rite Aid to help their customers overcome the hurdles associated with turning their healthcare ideas into solutions that improve the lives of patients.  Through the partnership, Rite Aid customers gain a dedicated online portal through which to submit their great ideas for full efficacy evaluation and potential commercialization.  Edison Nation Medical and Rite Aid will also conduct regular, targeted innovation searches.
